It lies on the foothills of the Mount Linas , that
is part of one of the most beautiful mountain ranges
in Sardinia. Surrounded by olive and oak trees touched
by the wind, our town has always had an agricultural
and farming vocation. Together with the fine quality of
our air and lands, this unique environment has led our
producers to excellence in the preparation of several
gastronomic specialities, of which cured pork meats,
olive oil and bread are our pride and joy. The results
of our healthy environment and diet are also made evident
by the high percentage of people who reach an advanced
age still in good shape.
